Hello Lewes Brewcafe / LAUNCH PARTY FRIDAY 22nd / Come Along!

We’re super excited to announce the launch of our new Brewcafe in Lewes, where all week long we’ll be serving up teas, coffees, biscuits, great food, great beer, and plenty of cracking AF options.
Thanks so much to everyone who supported our Crowdfunder. You / we absolutely smashed it! We really, really appreciate your help. (Meantime, We'll be in touch in the coming days with everyone who contributed to explain how the pledge rewards will work.)
So come and join us at 6pm on Friday 22nd September for a special celebratory launch bash - we’ll be opening our doors for the first time, and pouring a number of special new debut beers along with delicious nibbles from chef John Bayley at Cashew, mood enhancing music from George Benson and Hall and Oates, and absolutely guaranteed September sunshine on the park-view veranda from the big guy above.

A New Social Brewcafe for Lewes…
The new venue is situated in Malling Community Centre; it’s a collaborative venture with Lewes Town Council that’ll help turn this brilliantly refurbished space into a great destination for people to meet up and hang out. As part of our residency we’ll be working alongside the council to connect with as many community groups as possible - both large and small - to create a cool new home in Lewes for meetups, events, celebrations and great eats and drinks. Dog walkers, school-runners, nursery groups, footballers, knitters, book buffs, film buffs, yogis, joggers, stoolballers, toadsters, crafters, detectorists, and more… all are welcome - we want the Brewcafe to be a new kind of social club for Lewes.
A Great Food and Drink Offering…
We’ll be trading seven days a week. Opening hours will be:
Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 5pm.
Thursday to Saturday, 9am to 11pm.
Sunday, 9am to 10pm.
With the help of our foody friends at Cashew, we’ll be open in the morning to provide great coffee, teas and pastries; while daytime food will offer a super healthy range of vegan and vegetarian sandwiches and salads.
Weekend afternoons and evenings the space will be turned into a wellbeing taproom - featuring all the best of our beery beers and AF (alcohol free) range, hop sodas and kombuchas, alongside a rotating cast of wholesome and delicious food pairings: Thursday burgers, Friday curries, Saturday small plates and tapas and Sunday pie and mash, all from Cashew. We’ll also be offering more top flight drinks from some of the best local Lewes and Sussex-based producers.

Our aim is to provide well priced, healthy grub and mindful drinking for everyone - with plenty of choice for the kids.
Working with the Local Community…
We’ll be working closely with the Malling Community Centre team to support all activities and events that are currently based at the venue, and we'll be helping to enable a new range of activities that’ll maximise community use of this brilliant facility - using its newly refurbed indoor spaces and lovely outdoor area that overlooks the park.
