Firecracker ESB Wins GOLD at SIBA South East Beer Awards, High Fives APA in with a SILVER

We're super happy to say that Firecracker ESB has won gold at this year's SIBA South East Independent Cask Beer Awards; with High Fives APA bringing home a silver gong too. 

We're chuffed with the results. The standard of competition was super high, as ever... with loads of great names on the list. Cask beer is so important to us. We're building a growing line of really cool, progressive modern beers that are designed to get a whole new generation of drinkers into the firkin-based stuff. It's our heritage and we love it - we're creating new brews and blends that help folks discover the proper roots of our wonderful world of beer.

Firecracker did the business in the 'British Best Bitter' category... no doubt knocking socks off with its malty caramel, biscuits and spice and its subtle blend of traditional Olicana and Fuggles hops. Great going for a beer we only launched a few months ago. 

High Fives shone in the 'Session Pale Ale' category... a great reward for one of our all time favourite beers. There's so much going on in High Fives - mega five star hops Citra, Columbus, Cascade, Chinook and Centennial blended to perfection to deliver a super-balanced, bitter fruit punch.

Watch out for the fab new pump clips - arriving next week. And, we hope to be adding more gongs very soon to our European Beer Challenge golds and silvers in the AF world.
