Here's what's happening at the Brewcafe this week...
Have we got a treat for you this weekend ... welcome Appetito Stout, a gorgeous deep dessert blend of chocolate, coffee and hazelnut, with a sweet and boozy finish - perfect for the darker evenings. On the flipside we've got Hoopla Hazy Pale, a plush, silky splash of tropical fruit goodness that'll remind you of summer.
Plus we have: Shabang Pale - light, hazy and a lot of berries; Belter Lager - all crisp, golden and bright; plus Bongo Tropic IPA and Ascension Cider.

Planning your Lewes Bonfire Night? Come and celebrate in style with us on Wednesday 5th November ... we'll have an outdoor bar serving @onlywith_love beers, mulled cider and hot chocolate (with a dash of Bailey’s if that’s your tipple). AND the best views in town over the excellent Waterloo Bonfire Society site on Malling Rec.
Things to note:
💥 Brewcafe inside will be closed all day.
💥 Outdoor bar will be open from 3 - 11pm.
💥 Our inside offer will be completely closed, and that means there’ll be no access to the Brewcafe toilets, so plan your breaks!
💥 Don’t forget you won’t be able to get in or out of Lewes via roads or public transport from around 4.30pm onwards, make your travel arrangements ahead of the night.
💥 The Waterloo Bonfire Society firework display is a free event, run entirely on donations - please do support them by donating to their Just Giving page. We 'll have donation buckets on site on the night too so look out for them!

Parkrun is every Saturday, 9am. Here’s what it's all about: it's 5k; you can walk, jog, run or spectate; it’s free to join in, but you’ll need to register first on the parkrun website and bring a scannable copy of your barcode along. It's organised entirely by volunteers - so if you’re interested in helping out, send the guys an email at mallingrec@parkrun.com ...and, JOG ON!

Meanwhile, the Lewes Beer Mile is always on, in tandem with our pals at Beak, ABYSS and Harvey's. Come on down to the BrewCafe, have a wander and enjoy a pint or two. Just grab a map (available at all the tap rooms), sink a bevvy and collect a stamp at each venue. When you’ve visited all four places, you'll get yourself a special LBM tote bag – great for carrying home some souvenir cans.

Did you know there are four brilliant spaces to hire for community events and parties at the Malling Community Centre? Check them out… two great halls situated either side of the main Brewcafe area, and of course there’s the Brewcafe itself.
From sports clubs to book clubs, birthday parties to game nights, charity events to community celebrations, these amazing spaces are yours to use. Whatever your gig, there's loads of great things we can do together - with a full bar, great food options and a winning team.
Brewcafe aside, the Small Hall to the left of us offers a great space for slightly bigger gatherings. It holds up to 70 people when seated - and it's run and maintained by our partners at Lewes Town Council. (NB: this space can also be divided up into two equal parts for smaller get togethers - creating a third space to use.) Available for hire from as little as £8 per hour. You can also have access to everything the Brewcafe offers.
The Main Hall to the right of the Brewcafe is an amazing space for your big parties and events. It holds up to 120 people when seated (also run by our pals at the council). Available for hire from as little as £12 per hour. Like with the small hall, you can also have access to everything the Brewcafe offers - drinks, food, and more.
