Here's what's happening at the Lewes Brewcafe this week...
Get ready for summer sessions with Shabang, our brand new melon-y, light and hazy pale ale. You can also still enjoy Frolic, our super crisp European Extra Pale Ale brewed in collaboration with Hackney Church Brew Co; plus Fluster New England IPA, Hoopla Pale Ale, Belter Lager, and delightful cider from Ascension.

Get ready for Knit Night! This Thursday June 5th @ 7pm, we're diving into the fascinating world of knitting history and inspiration. The gang's been buzzing about pieces like this stunning 19th-century purse from the V&A collection. Bring your current knit, crochet, or sewing project and join us for a relaxed evening of crafting and conversation over a couple of drinks. Beginners are always welcome.

Taking place Sat 9th - Sun 10th August at the beautifully bucolic Glynde Place near Lewes (a wonderful 16th century manor house, nestled among the rolling South Downs). Featuring a host of interstellar breweries, it'll be bigger and better than ever...

Parkrun is every Saturday, 9am. Here’s what it's all about: it's 5k; you can walk, jog, run or spectate; it’s free to join in, but you’ll need to register first on the parkrun website and bring a scannable copy of your barcode along. It's organised entirely by volunteers - so if you’re interested in helping out, send the guys an email at mallingrec@parkrun.com ...and, JOG ON!

Meanwhile, the Lewes Beer Mile is always on, in tandem with our pals at Beak, ABYSS and Harvey's. Come on down to the BrewCafe, have a wander and enjoy a pint or two. Just grab a map (available at all the tap rooms), sink a bevvy and collect a stamp at each venue. When you’ve visited all four places, you'll get yourself a special LBM tote bag – great for carrying home some souvenir cans.

Did you know there are four brilliant spaces to hire for community events and parties at the Malling Community Centre? Check them out… two great halls situated either side of the main Brewcafe area, and of course there’s the Brewcafe itself.
From sports clubs to book clubs, birthday parties to game nights, charity events to community celebrations, these amazing spaces are yours to use. Whatever your gig, there's loads of great things we can do together - with a full bar, great food options and a winning team.
Brewcafe aside, the Small Hall to the left of us offers a great space for slightly bigger gatherings. It holds up to 70 people when seated - and it's run and maintained by our partners at Lewes Town Council. (NB: this space can also be divided up into two equal parts for smaller get togethers - creating a third space to use.) Available for hire from as little as £8 per hour. You can also have access to everything the Brewcafe offers.
The Main Hall to the right of the Brewcafe is an amazing space for your big parties and events. It holds up to 120 people when seated (also run by our pals at the council). Available for hire from as little as £12 per hour. Like with the small hall, you can also have access to everything the Brewcafe offers - drinks, food, and more.
